Data Deletion Instructions

Introduction

At EYE RX CRAFT, we respect your privacy and provide clear pathways for the removal of your data from our platform. As a professional clinical tool, we handle two primary types of data: User Account data (for professionals) and Patient Clinical data.

1. For Clinical Professionals (Account Holders)

If you are a registered Optometrist, Ophthalmologist, or Hospital Administrator and wish to delete your account and all associated clinic data, please follow these steps:

Send an email to support@eyerxcraft.in from your registered professional email address.
Subject line: "Request for Account and Data Deletion - [Your Name/Hospital Name]".
Our compliance team will verify your identity and process the request within 7-10 business days.
Note: Deleting your account will permanently remove all your clinical records, hospital settings, and prescribed history from our cloud servers. This action is irreversible.

2. For Patients

EYE RX CRAFT acts as a data processor for your eye care provider. Your clinical records are owned and controlled by the hospital or clinic you visited.

To request deletion of your clinical records, please contact your eye care clinic directly.
Once the clinic administrator deletes your record from their dashboard, the data is instantly removed from our active database partitions.
If you have used our public booking portal and wish to have your contact details removed, you may also email us at support@eyerxcraft.in.

3. What Data is Deleted?

Upon a successful deletion request, we purge the following from our production environment:

Personal Identity Information (Name, Email, Phone).
Clinical Examination Findings (Slit lamp, Fundus, Refraction).
Digital Prescription PDFs stored in Firebase Storage.
Appointment History and Billing Records.

4. Third-Party Data (Meta/WhatsApp)

EYE RX CRAFT utilizes the Meta WhatsApp Business API for document delivery. While we delete the links to prescriptions in our environment, Meta may retain message logs in accordance with their own Privacy Policy.
